The 4-channel VS-14E D1 Encoder from Marshall Electronics supports encoding of both NTSC and PAL signals. For NTSC, the maximum frame rate supported is 30 fps while for PAL, it is 25 fps. This encoder offers H.264 & H.264/MJPEG dual streaming. H.264 compression technology allows more compression thereby increasing the network's capacity. It supports power over Ethernet (PoE). When connected to a compatible switch, the VS-14E can draw power directly from the Ethernet connection.
